Hello and welcome to my portfolio page.My name is Leslie J. Gomez I will use this page to showcase the work I have done and the learning I have achieved during English 1C/2C.




First, I want to list some learning goals that I set for myself and then explain how I met these learning goals:

  • The first goal that i set for me during this summer class its Practice more the Language that I'm learning.
  • My second goal is Learn how to form correct sentences.
  • My third goal is Learn more vocabulary and practice the words.
  • My fourth goal is Practice my reading.
  • My fifth goal is to Increase my grades.

Next, I want to explain how one of our reading strategies works. Below I will explain how to Chart a Text. Then, I will give an example of how I charted a non-fiction text.

How to Chart a Text:

  • Read the text.
  • Mark the text.
  • Find whats the author is saying and write it on the right side of a t-chart.
  • Find whats the author doing and write it on the left side of the t-chart.
